Constructed with safety and durability in mind, the components of this 500W fish tank heater are encased in a high-durability ABS shell. The nickel-chromium heating wire and quartz glass are made of high-temperature resistant materials, along with explosion-proof quartz sand, ensuring a high level of safety and longevity.
This submersible aquarium heater also features comprehensive protection with two intelligent safeguards. The first is an over-temperature warning, which automatically stops heating if the water temperature exceeds the maximum of 94°F/34°C and displays the code "HH." The second is an off-water warning, which triggers the code "E1" and automatically stops heating if the submersible heater is above the water level in the fish tank.
The HiTauing Tank Heater with Digital Display and 2 Suction Cups allows you to monitor the water temperature and set the desired temperature in real-time. The variable temperature settings range from 63-94°F/17-34°C, and a simple press-and-hold of the button for 3 seconds will switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. Each press of the button will adjust the temperature by 1°F. The heater features a red light when heating and a green light when the temperature is holding steady.
